I wanted to take the opportunity to step away from the heavy snowfall in North America and see what the hype was about on the contest scene. So, I packed my bags and jetted to Laxx, Switzerland to take in the Burton European Open. To say the least, dude’s are throwing down. 9’s, 10’s, 12’s switch, regular, upside down and backwards, it’s been by far the heaviest riding I’ve seen in a contest, or possibly ever. Barely any falls, flawless style and up and comers giving the top dogs a run for their money.
