The Collection art show is an array of art that covers all art mediums. Printmaking, charcoal, paintings, photography, mix media painting, and illustrations. You could consider this show somewhat of a action sports art show, but we just want you the viewer to just see it as art and simply amazing art. Each artist in their own right is respected in their field of work/profession and we want to just show case how good each artist is at their skill. This tour is a combination of both art provided by action sport professionals in their own respective rights in addition to being a fun and interactive event for you and your friends to engage in.

THE ARTISTS:

Joe Meddock: Professional water sports photographer. Voted ‘08 Photographer of the year, Wakeboarding Magazine. Joey has the current cover to wakeboard magazine.

Mike Yoshida: One of the best snowboard photographers in the world. He has shot a cover for all major snowboard magazines. Mike is also the K2 staff photographer.

Chad Swanson: Chad’s use of materials on the back of glass will blow your mind. He uses anything and everything to create the image he is looking for. Chad’s tie into the action sports is that he has avidly skateboarding, snowboarding, and wakeboarding his whole life.

Matt French: The illustrations he free hands will make your eyes cross. Matt works two shifts a day drawing and making art, he probably produce more art in a month than any artist in a year. Matt makes art for companies like Volcom Clothing, Lib Tech Snowboards, and Pocket Pistol Skateboards just to name a few. Matt has created the art for the number one selling snowboards in snowboard history. The Skate Banana by Lib Tech!

Joe Tetrick: A large canvas painter that creates the most exceptional paintings straight out of his mind. His use of color makes the paintings and the atmospheres. His loose style invites you in to explore his paintings slowly finding more faces or images. To see them in first hand is the only way to view them.

Mike Ennen: The only professional wakeboarder that ever went to a university. Okay it was an art degree. Ha. Mike has intertwined two of his passions, wakeboarding and art. You will see his art all over his pro model gear, from his wakeboard to his boat. Mike is a printmaker that hand carves all of his images and uses a press to print onto paper.
