The North Face Masters of Snowboarding Is Ready for 2010

Salt Lake City, UT (January 7, 2010) — The first event in this year’s North Face Master’s of Snowboarding is set to go at Snowbird, UT, January 23-24. Featured in frequency TSJ #6.3, Snowbird’s Mount Baldy will provide a good venue for top pros like Rob Kingwill to throw down alongside dark horses Ryland Bell, Ralph Backstrom, and other up and coming shreds like Montana’s Aaron Robinson. WIth a $15,000 prize purse and an early lead in the points standings on the line, you know it will go off.

The next two stops feature an identical prize purse and take place at Crystal Mountain, WA and Kirkwood, CA on February 9-12 and 25-27, respectively, with top athletes getting the added bonus of a spot in the Freeride World Tour stop at Squaw Valley’s Tram Face in March. Good luck to all, and check back here for updates when the event is completed.
