The North Face Masters is Ready for Kirkwood, February 25-27

Kirkwood, California (February 23, 2010)

After a successful stop at Crystal Mountain, The North Face Masters is set for Kirkwood. There’s no doubt Tahoe is getting it good this year, and we’re all hoping to see some snow and make it 3 for 3 for pow turns during the final stop of the big mountain series.

An exerpt from the official PR:

“The much-anticipated final stop on The North Face Masters of Snowboarding (TNF Masters) presented by Primaloft arrives at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, California, February 25-27, 2010. Big-name pros, such as Rob Kingwill, Ralph Backstrom, and Ross Baker, along with up-and-comers from around the globe, will battle it out on Kirkwood’s most challenging terrain, The Cirque…With one of the deepest snow packs in the country, Kirkwood Mountain Resort is more than ready to host the world’s best big mountain snowboarders.”

With a venue that promises unobstructed views and a current tie between Mark Carter and Forrest Burki on top of the series standings, expect to see competitors throwing down this week. Check back for updates as the competition gets underway.
