From the most amazing Fall seasons that anyone nestled into the high country could ask for; to an early season trek into the bosom of mother Montana’s pillows – this year sure has jogged some vibrant memories. This time of year is always a very intricate mess of holidays, long hours, chip’monking more money away for the winter season and even closing out the bar tab early to save for those snowboard trips the months out.

Then sporadically sandwiched in between the grind – my good friend, Shane Stalling, gives me a ring and it’s off for a day in the mountains. Shane always has a new spot scoped and one eye out for the next one. This time it was an early season pillow mission with another fellow World Boards’ rider Kevin Fischer. Photographing with Shane and Kevin is always productive and never about more then getting out into the mountains, seeing what there is to see – with a “If your not having fun, you’re fired!” attitude.
