March in the Pacific Northwest saw predominantly grey skies and deep, deep snow. Byron Bagwell and Shawn Freyer made for the trees and spent most of the month popping pillows into the deep. And on the rare sunny days, they found their way into the alpine reaches of the Mt Baker backcountry.
