“Perfect Moments of Shred”: A Night to Remember
September 29th was an evening of photography, fun, love, and dedication in Bozeman, MT. The “Perfect Moments Of Shred” photo show officially opened at 6 pm in the Vast Collective gallery located at the Bomb Snow magazine offices. This photo show was a collection of images from some of the top shooters in the snowboard world. All dedicated to the memory of one outstanding individual, Aaron Robinson. The proceeds from print sales in the show will be channeled to the A-ROB Plant A Seed Foundation an upstart non-profit. The PAS foundation will begin serving the financially disadvantaged youth in the Flathead Valley of MT. The Robinson family is working in conjunction with Volcom, K2 and other generous contributors to provide these youth with something positive and uplifting in their lives, snowboarding. “We will work to get kids that haven’t had the opportunity to go snowboarding to experience first hand all the smiles and joy it can bring,” says Jason Robinson about the plan for the foundation.
The list of photographers at this show was heavy to say the least. Andy Wright, Chris Owen, Chris Wellhausen, Colin Wiseman, Frode Sandbech, Jeff Curtes, Jenna Low, Liam Gallagher, Matt Georges, Mike Yoshida, Reid Morth, Scott Serfas, Scott Sullivan, Tim Zimmerman. From some of the most respected and accomplished veterans to the young creative eyes on the way up. Each artist had two to three prints on the wall ranging from heart stopping action to warm fuzzy I-wanna-shred feeling lifestyle and detail images. The Vast Gallery saw visits from over three hundred people over the course of the evening and the general consensus was WOW, this is an amazing show!
