The American Alpine Institute is hosting an Avalanche Awareness Seminar this Saturday, December 1st, in Zuanich Point Park. Doors open at 6pm, and the seminar begins at 7pm. The event was designed to educate and promote the proper ways to move safely throughout the backcountry. There will be beer and pizza, as well as a raffle, an auction and live music. Spaces will be limited, so be sure to get there early!
