The 16th annual Showcase Showdown presented by Burton Snowboards will be taking place March 2nd at Whistler Blackcomb. The Showcase Showdown is Canada’s longest running snowboard competition, featuring the “Night of the Living Shred” big air contest where riders will compete for $5,000 in cash and prizes. Qualifying runs will begin at 2 p.m. – riders will get a two-hour jam session on the 55’ kicker in hopes of making the final cut. The final round will take place between 4-5 p.m. and will take shape in a head-to-head knockout for the overall champion. Check out Whistlerblackcomb.com/events for more information.
