Born in the Pacific Northwest in 1987, K2 Snowboarding has evolved with the sport of snowboarding. Join the K2 crew at Hoher Ifen in Kleinwalsertal, Austria on April 6th for the K2 Kranked Slalom – celebrating 25 years with great riding and some old-fashioned good fun. The completion will consist of a banked slalom course combined with freestyle elements and will be in “contest format”; time, style, and technical skill will all count towards a final score. Teams of three will battle for the K2 Kranked axe, as well as a Japan powder adventure. The after-party will begin soon after and go until the wee hours of the night. The event is open to any and all folks who want to celebrate the spirit of snowboarding the way it’s supposed to be celebrated: with great friends on the mountain.
