Mid Winter Kinda Feel

It’s officially spring. Well, kind of. The active squall, fresh snow and gusty wind outside my window isn’t exactly convincing. But that’s pretty typical in Montana this time of year…

In between the stormy days, there have been some really nice days too. And if the snow is bonded, this is the time to get out and get on some big tours. Although it may be warm and sunny down in the valley, up high it’s remained cold, and the north facing slopes retain their winter like state. See for yourself:

Beehive Basin, Big Sky MT

With winter weather dominating everywhere from the PNW all the way down to the Colorado Rockies the rest of April is looking pretty good. As most ski resorts turn the chairs off, there is no shortage of riding out there!
