Winter is here, what better excuse to party!? Widmer Brothers Brewing is back with Big Chill 2013 at the Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge in Portland this Friday, November 22 at 9pm. At this FREE event, Widmer will roll out their 2013 Brrr Seasonal Ale including free custom glassware with the purchase of that brew. Upstairs, the art gallery will host a silent auction of winter-themed art on snowboards donated by Mt. Hood Meadows. Featured artists include Portland’s finest Dave Banks, Devin Ryan, Janessa Bork, Eugene Good, Jason Sturgill, Tina Snow Le and many more. Proceeds from the 20-piece auction go to Portland non-profit Snowdays Foundation who are dedicated to youth empowerment through snowboarding. Downstairs, the bowling alley will turn into a catwalk for Jillian Rabe Productions’ models to flaunt the latest winter fashions. DJs are spinning until 1am and there’s always a couple surprises in store.
