Northern Grease, a documentary by Beyond Boarding, follows Tamo Campos, John Muirhead and Jasper Snow Rosen as they travel in a vegetable oil fueled bus throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Their mission: to understand Canadian resource extraction projects, the dangers inherent in practices like fracking and coal mining, and the environmental and cultural impacts they preset. Along the way they encounter people who’s lifestyles offer solutions by utilizing alternative and renewable energy sources. Oh, and they manage to do some boarding, too.
