“Far From Home” tells the inspirational story of Ugandan Brolin Mawejje, a man on a quest to become a doctor as well as Africa’s first Olympic snowboarder. Brolin has lived a life of overcoming obstacles, but is never one to let a challenge stand in his way. The film gives insight into his journey, from Kampala, Uganda to the United States in his medical and athletic pursuits. If all goes well, Brolin will be representing Africa at the 2018 Olympic Games in Korea.
