Minnesota Madness: “Snowboarding’s Dead” Episode 1

Alex Andrews says he’s heard rumors that “snowboarding is losing participation and noticed local established shops going out of business.” “Snowboarding’s Dead,” a new web series produced by Andrews himself, aims to encapsulate the “other” side of snowboarding, the one that supports local shops and snowboard communities throughout the country. First stop: Minnesota. Home to Trollhaugen and Hyland, and plenty of urban spots, the state has produced some of snowboarding’s gnarliest rail riders. This episode of “Snowboarding’s Dead” gives insight into the snowboard scene there.
