The Northwest had a sub-par winter this year, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t any powder days. The Portland-based Split Life crew didn’t hesitate to charge into the backcountry in search of some soul turns when the lifts failed to provide. From fishing half-split boards out of creeks to spring-time lines in Alaska, this edit features some powdery POV footage and a healthy share of volcanic descents, all with some trippy visuals sprinkled on top. Split Life is a movie by splitboarders, for splitboarders, proving that hard-earned turns are the best of their kind.
