Environmentally Conscientious Powder Seekers: The Middle/Path Project Episode 2

After realizing that deep snow was no longer in the cards for the PNW last season, The Middle/Path Project crew loaded up their gear and headed east to Montana. Their goal was to score as many steep lines and backcountry kicker hits as they could, but also to be aware of the carbon footprint that their travels would leave behind. By doubling up on snowmobiles and only using them to get to a solid riding zone, and spending the rest of the day hiking or splitboarding for lines, these riders significantly reduced the amount of gas used in their sleds. The Middle/Path Project stresses the importance of treating nature with respect, despite it being more strenuous or less time efficient in regards to filming snowboarding. They hope that their efforts in reducing their carbon footprint will help ensure future generations of riders to shred the same kind of lucsious powder that they grew up enjoying.

Featuring: Jonny Sischo, Ryan Tucker, Tyler Morton, Travis Claughton, Sean Fithian, Teddy Schein, Ian Wood, Kurt Jenson & Matt Wainhouse.
