Our good friends up at Whistler Blackcomb have just announced that they will be opening the resort on November 19, 2015, a week ahead of schedule. Since November 1 the mountain has received nearly 40 inches of natural snow and the forecast shows that another foot and a half is on the way. When Whistler Mountain opens on November 19 it will have five lifts spinning, including the Whistler Village Gondola, the Creekside Gondola, Emerald Express, Big Red Express and Franz’s Chair. Get up there and get your early season powder turns!
