Brolin Mawejje in “A Snowboard Brotherhood – From Uganda to Jackson Hole”

Brolin Mawejje, the star of “Far From Home” (featured in issue 12.4 of frequency TSJ) is one hell of an extraordinary individual. Originally from Kampala, Brolin immigrated to the United States at 12-years-old and has since become an Olympic hopeful with the goal of becoming the first Ugandan snowboarder to ever compete in the Winter Games. Brolin still has a long road of training ahead of him, but in comparing this footage to that showcased in “Far From Home” it’s clear that his skills on a snowboard are improving dramatically, and rapidly, too. He credits the stellar snowpack and challenging terrain that his current home mountain, Jackson Hole, has too offer – that, and the familial crew he has helping to push his riding to the next level.
