The French Pyrenees mountains have been intrumental in Xavier De Le Rue’s upbringing and in influencing his riding style, but rarely does he have the opportunity to go back and enjoy them. Xavier heads back to the small village of Aulon, a place almost forgotten in time with old European architecture embedded into the green mountainside with the snow capped Pyrenees looming powerfully overhead. Afterwards he and his brother, Polo, head to Pic Du Midi,a mountain whos grandeur has engulfed Xavier’s imagination since childhood. Together they skin up and realize a childhood dream in their homeland while also pushing their personal limits on the amazing terrain.
