Mid-Thirties, Still Ripping: Max Henault in his Private Park

As a snowboarder, rolling into the latter half of the third decade of life often means slowing down in the park, spending more time working on carves and pow turns, and less on jumps and features. But for Max Henault (featured in issue 13.4 of frequency: TSJ), age 36 entails sending double flips and spinning hard-way onto down rails. He comes into his tricks with insanely clean form and stomps ’em out with controlled precision. With this edit, Max lets all his students know that he’s a snowboard coach who can still practice what he preaches.
