Who could have predicted that Mathieu Crepel (featured in issue 11.4 of The Snowboarder’s Journal) would be the one taking home the gold duct tape at the 30th Annual Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom? Apparently, his crew did. Chapter four of Almo Films’ “Cretin De Alpes/Happy Go Lucky” web series gives us a behind the scenes look into Crepel’s days leading up to the big race, and the suspenseful moments he endured just before being named winner of the event.
