Late March and into early April is a time for Spring boarding, slush slashing, and of course, retro events at the mountains. Washington’s Stevens Pass and Mt. Baker just had their annual Retro Fool’s Day and Gaper Day, respectively, and Boreal, CA just held their 34th Annual Tom Sims Retro World Championships. Thirty-four years… Can you believe it? Riders of all ages came out to pay homage to the late, great Tom Sims, and the collective energy that surged through the event made this year’s one for the books.
