Despite what the title may lead you to believe, this is not a workout video. When you think of street snowboarding, it’s usually wallrides and handrails that come to mind–steep double kinks and the like. But there’s a feature in the streets that is often overlooked by riders who are looking to raise the bar in urban riding, and that feature is the bench. Although, evidently, the bench is not to be underestimated.

Earlier this year we saw Snowboy Productions pay homage to the bench at with the Bench Heaven event at Oslo Vinterpark in Norway, and the ode to the bench now continues with “Benchpress The Movie.” You’ll be surprised to see how many different tricks can go down on these seats. So, lean back and enjoy one of the most entertaining videos to have come out in the past few months. And when you’re done, consider jibbing whatever it is your sitting on.
