Bend, OR is a magical place. It’s home to great breweries, a river wave, and there’s world-class snowboarding just a half-hour from downtown at Mt. Bachelor. There’s great splitboarding terrain in the surrounding area, and if you want to hit a resort besides Bachelor you can drive a little over an hour and be snaking through the powdery tree runs at Willamette Pass. Last season, K2 Snowboarding‘s Destry Serna, Stratton Mattesos, Alex Maros and Tim and Hannah Eddy took a trip to Bend and made the most of a powdery week cruising central Oregon. It’s safe to say that this beats working.
