While benches may not be the gnarliest thing to ride, sometimes the most creative snowboarding comes from dicking around on the simplest stuff. Benches have been a staple of street-based mini-shredding since the dawn of jibbing, so it only makes perfect sense why there’s an entire event paying homage to the cherished feature. Bench Heaven 2019 at Oslo Vinterpark attracted top-tier rail riders from around the globe–proof that the bench is truly beloved by snowboarders the world over.
