We’re In This Together: A Letter from Our Publisher

Dear Snowboarder’s Journal friends,

We wanted to give a shout out to our community — from Squaw Valley to Stratton, and Valdez to Val d’isere. With a challenging time for all, we are doubling efforts to give our readers a breather and crank up the volume of inspirational content across our all of our digital channels. Additionally, we are unearthing some gems in our archive including never before released audio interviews with some of snowboarding biggest icons. As The Snowboarder’s Journal heads into our 20th season, we have amassed an incredible collection of moments with everyone from Craig Kelly to Travis Rice to the Mindnich brothers. We look forward to sharing some of these with you over the next several weeks.

We will remain connected as a community that looks out for one another. Take care of yourselves. Go outside; breathe some spring air, let the mountains fill your soul.

While no one should ignore their state or county health officials and become an EMS liability, there is a lot one can do backyard vs. backcountry. Whether walking the neighborhood hills, doing snowboarder-focused yoga, or Google Earth searching for that big mission next season, we encourage all to keep the faith. Safely.

And please feel free to share your more creative coping tactics with us; we’ll be putting up the best and most ludicrous. Send to submit@thesnowboardersjournal.com

We’ll be right here, continuing to knock out snowboarding’s best stories, images and films for snowboarding’s best community. As we have for the last 20 years. We are all in this together.

Stay Stoked,

Jeff Galbraith, Publisher
