Bike to Board: July

Stratton Matteson leaves plenty of footprints, but he’s cut down on the carbon kind. His “Bike to Board” adventures are still steadily rolling along, with July marking 12 consecutive months in which Stratton has earned his turns without the use of automobiles. “As split-boarders and backcountry skiers, we carry with us a deep connection and reverence for water, mountains, the land, and all life that resides in these watersheds,” Stratton writes. “But, when our mode of commuting to these sacred places comes at the cost of their natural well being, we know there is room for growth.”
