This past December was truly one to remember for snowboarders at Mt Baker, WA. The mountain received 100 inches of fresh snow. Temps and freezing levels were much lower than usual, which opened up some lines that aren’t often rideable. Austen Sweetin, filmmaker Sean Lucey and their crew took full advantage of the phenomenally deep conditions to film for their ongoing web series, “Boardslide Worldwide.” This episode, aptly entitled “Storm Surge,” goes quite hard.
