In August, Grant Giller (featured in Issue 20.1) and filmer Kevin Nolan embarked on a long, epic journey to an area so far south that its nicknamed “El Fin del Mundo.” Getting to Ushuaia, Argentina, was no easy task, but the experience was worth the trip. The pair linked up with locals and took advantage of their rare opportunity to hit street rails in the city before heading to the surrounding backcountry to ride powder. They suggest viewing their video recapping the adventure with a generous plate of empanadas.
