Alaska is the promised land for backcountry snowboarders. Valdez is home to long, sustained and steep pitches as far as the eye can see. Roland Morley-Brown traveled all the way from New Zealand to take a shot at riding Alaska’s fabled lines. Roland’s skills, The Last Front Tier and stable conditions proved to be a winning combo, as seen here in Moments: Valdez.
