Ryland Bell in Ketanaku

Ryland Bell leads a unique life. Fishing from his home in Alaska in the summers, riding damn near every day in the winters, camping out on glaciers and riding some of the heaviest spine walls on the planet. In Ketanaku, a 12-minute feature by the venerable Chris Edmands, we see Ryland’s seasonal progression, from plying the waters under the Alaskan alpine to riding therein the spring. Set to a classical soundtrack, it avoids the three-minutes of action cliche and provides an unusual take on an unusual individual… who also happens to ride a serious line at the end.
