On and on south of Everett, we arrive at Snoqualmie West (that’s The Pass to you and me) to tent city, kickers, and ladies and more ladies. Designed to create a greater understanding of early signs for breast cancer among young women, as well as raising money for Seattle’s world-famous Fred Hutchinson Center and their research, MAMAFEST also keeps it fun and rocking forward with bands all day, booter contests for skiers and snowboarders, and raffle prizes galore. Wibby even won a damn snowboard. I found some bits of powder mid-afternoon, and you know I slashed that shit for all it was worth. Alpental had to have been going off.
