Think Thank’s Seattle Premier

Seattle, WA – Think Thank always brings a unique perspective to snowboarding. With their ‘recession proof’ mantra and crew of underpaid dirts traveling nine-in-a-van from city to city and next-level mini-shred, it’s always entertaining to see what Burtner and company have in store. So when this year’s release titled “Cool Story” came through Seattle’s King Cat Theater, we made the pilgrimage south to see what this year’s offering was all about.

After some warm up beverages at the 21+ friendly King Cat Theater, a large crew of slightly inebriated shred heads rtook in Snowboard Connections local offering “As Good As it Gets” before the main feature. Solid riding from Northwest up and comers got the crowd rolling before Burtner got on the mic to present this year’s epic: a borderline feature-length film that traces the crew throughout the season, with a weekly update from a different rider. Diverse parts from newcomers Tim Eddy and dark horse Jason Robinson along with local heads Blair Habenicht and Matt Edgers added some flavor to the usual creative riding from Burtner, Genovese and the rest of the crew. Suffice to say everyone left stoked and smiling with winter on the mind.

Thanks to SnoCon, Summit, Lib, Burtner and all the others who helped put the event on. Another solid offering from Think Thank is in the books, go out and cop it for yourself.
