Lib Tech’s Holy Bowly: Hakuba, Japan, April 14

Holy bowls, Lib Tech! Krush and the folks over at Mervin Mfg are taking Japan bowl riding to the next level April 14 in Hakuba, Japan. The details:

Mervin Manufacturing is beyond stoked to announce their newest international event, Lib Tech’s Holy Bowly…

This “International gathering of creativity and flow” is a collective effort with some of the most respected snow bowl builders in Japan as well as some of the most respected riders in the world all coming together for a common goal of showcasing another option in the future of freestyle snowboarding and park design.

Japanese snow bowl builders Hayato “Bubbles” Maruyama, Goro Komatsu and Shuji Kajiura joined by Mervin Mfg.’s Krush Kulesza and a crew of dedicated volunteers and Happoone staff look to give the pros and the public an amazing day of progression, high-fives and lasting memories.

This event will borrow the laid back inclusive vibe of it’s US sister event, Lib Tech’s Holy Oly Revival, with an amazing list of international riders including Jamie Lynn, Forest Bailey, Jesse Burtner, Jess Kimura, Dylan Thompson, Sean Genovese, Austin Hironaka, Teddy Koo, Harrison Gordon, Pat Moore, Kohei Kudo, Wes Makepeace, Ryan Paul, Maria DeBari, Bryn Valaika, Maribeth Swetkoff-Kramer, Kyle Lopiccolo all mixed in and shredding with the public.

And to finish off the day, the after-party at The Pub (Wadano, Hakuba) will feature an amazing live set from snowboarding legend, amazing musician and Lib Tech Ripper Wes Makepeace, plus a set by Swell and DJ Kenji…”

Sounds good to us. Anyone want to front me a ticket to Japan?
