We all have our influences regardless of what those might be. You’ll find that some riders have a very skate influenced style of staccato-like movements, and others might be more surf inspired with their smooth carves and hand drags. This video to me emulates more of snowboarding’s own genuine style of approaching and riding the environment you’re in for what it presents, and not so much for what trick you really want to do on the natural feature in front of you. It’s more working with what you’re given, than forcing a hand.
