If mini-shred has taught us anything, it’s that a bench should never be underestimated. While some people see benches as a place to sit, snowboarders see them as a feature with unlimited jibbing potential. Led by Krush Kulesza, Snowboy Productions paid homage to the bench with their recent Bench Heaven event at Oslo Vinterpark in Norway. A group of pro riders assembled for a three-day mass assault on benches that they found around the city, and ended the trip with Snowboy’s public event at Vinterpark. The event went off without a hitch, so smoothly in fact that it might even make Belinda Carlisle say, “Oh baby, do you know what this is worth? They made Bench Heaven a place on Earth.”
