Carinthia Peace Pipe 2017

You’ve never seen a muddier snowboard event than the Peace Pipe. Every year in Vermont riders from across the east coast gather at Carinthia at Mt. Snow to make the most of the little bit of snow still left on the resort. With riders hiking features next to lush trees and foliage, it’s easy to see why they call the mountain range Mt. Snow is situated in the Green Mountains. It’s most likely all melted out there now, so it’s good that these riders got it while it was still available.

A word from Carinthia Parks about this year’s Peace Pipe:

What started out a decade ago with a few riders looking to make the most of the snow leftover from the halfpipe, has now morphed into a yearly celebration of the East Coast park season. This year was no exception, with riders, including some of the top East Coast pros, traveling in from as far as Cali for a day of rails, mud, and partying, to send off the 16/17 season with a bang.

If you didn’t make it this year, you missed out!

Riders: Shaun Murphy, Max Lyons, Rory Bruder, Nate Haust, Steve Lauder, Jake Gaudet, Maggie Leon, Cole Navin, TJ Fitzgerald, & Zeb Powell.
Cut and Edit: Devin Bernard
Music: Hound Master by Calvin Lyons
