Snowboard films aren’t often like movies the traditional sense, but “The Peculiar Expedition of Thomas Snyder” is in many ways. The story follows Thomas Snyder, a midwest native transplanted to the expansive, powdery terrain of Montana, as he sets out on a quest to break away from his daily routine of lapping the parks and groomers at the local resort. He finds new features to ride (some more rural than one may expect) and lines to explore in this uniquely shot, edited and narrated film–or should we say movie–created by Zane Clampett.
