The Black Powder Movement – Powder Is Heaven Sent

Powder and rap—an unlikely yet timeless duo. In the music video for “Powder Is Heaven Sent” by Eric “Ric Riggler” Rhea of The Black Powder Movement, Ric slashes turns while dropping bars. He reps a mountaineering rope in place of a chain around his neck and raps with an ice axe in hand, and the whole thing’s gold. Turn up the volume because this music video, featuring athletes such as issue 17.4 cover-boy Ryland Bell and skier Lynsey Dyer, will surely leave you grinning (if not dancing).

A word from Eric about the video:

This 5th music video from snowboard, hip-hop artist Eric “Ric Riggler” Rhea is a collaboration with leading female big-mountain free skier, LYNSEY DYER, big-mountain snowboarder, RYLAND BELL, and ski mountaineer, JOE “Pro” VALLONE.

“Powder is Heaven Sent” is Riggler’s ode to the chase and love for the mountain lifestyle no matter what the winter promises in terms of snowfall.

The song also takes you on a ride with Riggler and The Black Powder Movement crew through the French Alps in the tradition of his some of his other songs and videos that travel though various ski regions and mountains around the world.
